Tips for organic cultivation of Corn flower plant

(Centaurea cyanus)

Seedling production
Due to the fact that direct sowing of wheat flowers in the main land causes their growth to be irregular, and many of their seeds may grow together when they sprout, therefore transplanting and growing plants in the treasury can cause regular growth of plants with desired intervals. The method of seed cultivation is as follows:
First, put the desired seed in lukewarm water for 24 to 48 hours.
Then plant the seeds in soft and completely moist soil at a depth of 0.5 cm and place a nylon on the edge of the pot to maintain moisture.
The environment should be bright but not exposed to direct sunlight and the temperature should be above 24 degrees Celsius.
Whenever the surface of the soil is dry, moisten it with a sprinkler and keep it moist until the seeds sprout.
The blooming time of each flower and plant is different and varies from one week to 2 months.
Biofertilizers should be given to seedlings in spring. Wheat flower should be watered regularly.
Do not use fresh manure for planting seeds.
If fully decomposed manure is not available, you can use compost, fertilization is very important for seeds because it makes sprouts grow better.
Corn flower in full sun and well-drained soil, sow seed directly into weed-free soil in spring.
How to plant Corn flowers
Sow the seeds so that the planting depth is not too high (1.5 to 2 cm) in wet and plowed soil and cover it gently with soil.
Water the soil during dry periods. When the seedlings are large enough, space them 6 to 8 inches apart.
Use plenty of organic matter, including vermicompost, in the planting ground, especially if the soil is heavy clay or light sandy soil with good drainage.
Mix more organic matter with the excavated soil and fill the planting hole and water well.
